Edvin Klasson ('91) holds a Master's degree in Industrial Design from The Oslo School of Architecture and Design, with additional design studies at The Offenbach University of Art and Design in Germany. Klasson established his eponymous design studio in 2016 working with various furniture manufacturers, as well as running a small scale furniture production in collaboration with local craft workshops. He won a Young Talent Award in 2013 and was in 2016 included in Wallpaper Magazine's annual Graduate Directory, featuring 20 of the world’s hottest design talents.

Klasson is interested in the balance between the well-known and the radical, often playing around with archetypal forms and familiar objects.
