Nora Furuholmen ('70) holds a master degree in Furniture Design from the National Academy of the Arts, Department for Interior Architecture and Furniture Design, Oslo, Norway. She also holds a diploma in Furniture Carpentry, and has accomplished undergraduate studies in Architecture, Design and Art at the Academy in Trollhättan in Uddevalla, Sweden.

Nora works freelance from a base in Oslo, Norway. In addition to furniture design she also dedicates time to interior design and scenography.
