The Prins sofa offers generous proportions with soft lines and gentle curves.  Its rounded arms and backrest facilitate a pleasant contact with the user, both visually and physically, whilst adding character and uniqueness to the model.  This is strengthened by the contrasting shapes throughout; round, full and compact vs flat, slim and light, which can also be seen in the legs.  The sofa is upholstered in a specially designed exclusive stretch fabric comprising wool and mohair and featuring a subtle sheen and appealing touch.  A seamless and impeccable fit around the double-curved surfaces is ensured by the elasticity of the fabric. The fabric, Prinsdal, has been designed by Pia Bjørnstad and is made by Gudbrandsdalens. The overall construction of the sofa is of high quality and promises lasting strength and solidity.

Both the Prins sofa and the Prinsdal fabric recently received the 2015 Award for Design Excellence by the Norwegian Design Council.
